Shuttles

Driving in Costa Rica is a completely different animal and to keep things easy, safe and your stress level down, we always recommend hiring a shuttle from the airport (SJO) to your lodging destination on the coast.  Not to mention the hassle and expense of the required insurances.

From there golf carts and taxis can be easily utilized to get around the local area.  If you plan to book some type of non-fishing “adventure tour”, most tours offer transportation to and from the location.

Airport SJO to Jaco area (1.5hrs): $220 each way, good for up to 4ppl, +$20 each additional person, 6 max.
